ANODISING

Anodising

At Malabar Extrusion, we have an in-house capability to anodize parts using a two-step duranodic finish in clear, bronze and black. Anodizing is a process that increases the thickness of the natural oxide layer on the surface of aluminum. It is known for improving the resistance to corrosion and wear and for providing better adhesion for primers and glue. With the help of our large anodizing tanks, we have an in-house capability to anodize parts using a two-step duranodic finish in clear, various shades of bronze up to black for Commercial, Class I and Class II applications. We can anodize parts in lengths between 8’ and 28’. In addition to the standard caustic etch finish, we also offer an acid etch finish.
